Thinking about ‘the waiting zone’

So the masculinizing surgeries section needed redoing to factor in removal of the womb (hysterectomy) and removal of the ovaries and fallopian tubes (salpingo-oophorectomy).

Before starting on this, I realised that all my other lines started with being referred, and waiting for confirmation and blood tests etc. for the first few stops before actually feeling like that part of the journey has started because you're having your first appointment, or first injection of hormones etc., and so wanted to come up with some way that showed that they were on those lines and the ball was rolling, but that they’re still stuck waiting for some kind of treatment to begin.

So I redrew the surgery section to reflect that, by having it go across before splitting down for upper or lower surgery, so all the paper work that has to to through then falls into this 'waiting' zone.

I had used zoning on my previous tube map, with the six zones being: Birth, Gender, Creativity, Sexuality, Ace and Inclusivity. I think I could do something similar with this map with the idea of affirmation vs rejection zone (diagnosed or not) as outer, overarching zones, then within affirmation having the care pathway zone, and within that having waiting zones and surgical zones etc. - but this is a think on more at the point I feel like I understand my map as a whole and can consider how it could be sectioned.
