Getting a bit more precious with it... now that I'm set on my colours, after SO MUCH swapping and changing.
For this drawing I measured it all out, and got very annoyed when I reached the lower surgeries and it wouldn't fit on the page... no matter. When it comes to compiling it all together I'll use A3 rather than an A4 sketchbook and it won't feel so constricting.
I think the red + symbolising going into hospital is really clear, and I like the use of it more than I thought I would! I also think the colours work nicely together, and I don't look at the colour blend as distinctly masculine, but when compared with the group chosen for the other side of the map, I would describe the colours as "more masculine by comparison".
I'm glad I considered the length of lines when creating, where I considered an extra stop in voice therapy to separate out meeting the therapist and recording voice - even though they happen in the same session, as I understand it.
I also considered an extra stop in egg freezing to add the egg maturing hormone injection, but I don't think that extra singular injection is overly important to note on the diagram - the viewer is made aware fertility injections are involved, and of course they'll be told more during the process - it didn't feel worth shifting the alignment of the map for.
