And re-doing referrals...

I then decided that actually the circular design would be more appropriate for creating MY transition map, with the analogy of feeling like I was going around in circles, compared with the linear 'fixed' step-by-step process that should happen for depicting the NHS care pathway.

I also think that it's more clear, readable and accessible which is what's more important for the map that is meant to display everyone's pathway rather than my personal journey. Watching the Design Classics documentary made me think about the circular version being more like the original geographical maps, and this new version like the redesign by Harry Beck that was clear and concise.

I think having lines that curve, and appear wobbly in a way my mental health was while slowly moving on the lines will work well. I pictured it coming across as more chaotic to the viewer, and for this map I want clarity: the map should be able to both educate people of the system, and support people on their journey.
